Tommy Streeter, a potential steal

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of posts in the past couple days but I just started a new job and time was tight. A big thanks to Ryan for keeping the site fresh. I have been looking at mock drafts and seeing where Tommy Streeter has been going and I am consistently seeing anywhere from the 2nd to the 4th round. In my opinion, that is totally absurd as he is one of the premiere prospects at the WR position. Streeter has all the┬ámeasurable’s┬áto be an absolute stud and if a team can land him in the third round, they would be getting a major steal. After he blew up the combine, I thought Streeter might see his stock soar into the late first round but instead he has kind of stayed where he was. I have always had him rated as an early second round pick and I see numerous possible landing spots for him. After the jump see where they are and see my updated WR Rankings.

Possible landing spots for Streeter

  • Round 2 Pick 1 – St. Louis Rams
  • Round 2 Pick 3 – Minnesota Vikings
  • Round 2 Pick 4 – Tampa Bay Buccanneers
  • Round 2 Pick 5 – Cleveland Browns
  • Round 2 Pick 6 – Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Round 2 Pick 9 – Buffalo Bills
  • Round 2 Pick 14 – Philadelphia Eagles
  • Round 2 Pick 15 – New York Jets
  • Round 2 Pick 16 – New England Patriots
  • Round 2 Pick 18 – Chicago Bears
  • Round 2 Pick 24 – Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Round 2 Pick 26 – Houston Texans
  • Round 2 Pick 29 – Baltimore Ravens
  • Round 2 Pick 30 – San Francisco 49ers
  • Round 2 Pick 32 – New York Giants

With all these teams needing WRs I don’t think there is any way that Streeter falls out of the 2nd round. I think the most likely landing spot for him is to the Eagles or the Patriots.

Personally I prefer Nick Toon over Mohammed Sanu, especially as a possession receiver. Streeter and Hill have unique abilities though and can definitely develop into elite receivers. Blackmoon is just a baller, and then Floyd is just an overall all around good receiver, good speed, good catching, very complete player just needs a few years and will be a solid starter somewhere, safe pick.
