State, NFL Draft, Oregon, Scouting Report, Top Players Available Leave a commentThis is the final installment of a five part series that looked at the top 50 offensive players in the 2012 NFL Draft. Today, I will look at 41 to 50.
41. Case Keenum, QB, Houston: Keenum has been one of the best college QB’s in the past couple years. He has a big arm but will need to transition from Houston’s wacky offense.
42. D.J. Woods, WR, Cincinnati: Woods will move into the No. 1 WR role for Cincinnati and should have a huge season.
43. George Bryan, TE, N.C. State: Bryan could have declared for the 2011 draft but wisely chose to return for his Senior season. Another good year should put him in Day 2 or early Day 3.

31st to 40th defensive prospects
Posted: May 21, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: 2012, Alabama, Big Board, Central Florida, Forston, Miami, Mock Draft, Nebraska, NFL Draft, Robinson, Scouting Report, Steinkuhler, Texas Leave a commentOver the past week I have looked at the top 30 defensive prospects. Today, I will look at the 31st to 40th prospects for defense in the 2012 NFL Draft.
31. Baker Steinkuhler, DE/DT, Nebraska: Steinkuhler will likely not declare but if he does he should be a second round pick.
32. Marcus Forston, DT, Miami: Forston could end up much higher on this list but he has not impressed me that much from what I have seen.
33. Josh Robinson, CB, Central Florida: Robinson has really impressed me from what I have seen. I think he could be a huge steal on Day 2.
Trent Richardson Scouting Report
Posted: May 21, 2011 Filed under: 2012 NFL Scouting Reports | Tags: Alabama, Lawrence Maroney, Mark Ingram, Maurice Jones Drew, Mock Draft, NFL Draft, Scouting Report, Trent Richardson 2 CommentsTrent Richardson is the early favorite to be the No. 1 RB taken in the 2012 draft.
Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 224
Class: Junior (this is what he will be this year)
NFL Player Comparison
- Maurice Jones Drew: He is not as short as MJD but he reminds me a lot of MJD. He runs with great vision, power, and has great top end speed. He has the hands to play out of the backfield as well.
Dan Herron Scouting Report
Posted: May 19, 2011 Filed under: 2012 NFL Scouting Reports | Tags: Dan Herron, Mock Draft, NFL Draft, Ohio State, Scouting Report Leave a commentDan Herron is an interesting prospect. He has good power and runs hard but needs a good season to be a Day 1 or Day 2 pick.
Dan Herron, RB, Ohio State
- Height: 5’10”
- Weight: 205
- Class: Senior
NFL Player Comparison
- Delone Carter: Herron reminds me exactly of this year’s RB prospect, Delone Carter. Like Carter, he plays bigger than he is and runs incredibly hard. The big difference between them is that Herron has very good hands and is a good receiving threat and Carter was not. That is why Herron could go on Day 2 and Carter did not.
